We at PANA stock cell rubber grades based on EPDM, CR, NBR, SBR and NR and thus cover a wide range of applications.<\/p>\n<p>Due to its closed cell structure, the foam is air- and watertight even without an outer skin. In addition, cellular rubber has good oil, ozone and UV resistance.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the above-mentioned properties, cellular rubbers of certain thicknesses already fulfil some specifications and standards, such as UL certification, FMVSS or even some other automotive-specific requirements. They are still very flexible even when cold and can withstand a maximum temperature of up to 130\u00b0C under continuous load<\/li>\n<li>economical<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>CR cellular rubber (chlorprene or neoprene):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>has its strength in fire resistance (usually self-extinguishing)<\/li>\n<li>Resistant to many different chemicals, also to salt water<\/li>\n<li>Good ageing resistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NBR cellular rubber:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Particularly good resistance to oils and fuels<\/li>\n<li>High abrasion resistance and very durable<\/li>\n<li>Low compression set, i.e. well suited if the material is regularly subjected to mechanical stresses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NR cell rubber:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Optimal for requirements of tensile strength, tear strength, elongation and flexibility at low temperatures only<\/li>\n<li>Similar to NBR, NR has a good compression set<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Semi-closed cellular rubber types (usually EPDM-based):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compared to the closed-cell types, these can be compressed with significantly less force<\/li>\n<li>Above a certain level of Due to its robustness and this cell structure, the material is perfectly suited as a seal, for unfolding and insulating.  <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Why can cellular rubber shrink?<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Cellular rubber is inherently subject to a natural shrinkage of up to 5%.
